A little about me

I’m Mark
I was born and raised in Stoke on Trent, England, with its links to industry, the mines and ceramics.. and yet a few minutes away from beautiful moors, mountains, and lakes.
As an amateur photographer, I’m always learning, and never afraid to try something new. I’m passionate about capturing the beauty of life and nature, and find joy in snapping what I like. I love capturing life’s most beautiful moments.
My goal is to capture unique photos that bring out the best in any situation. I take pride in providing high-quality photos that can be treasured forever. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a simple moment, I strive to create timeless memories that will last a lifetime.

Relationship with nature
I love nature and adventure. My youth was spent hiking, camping, and going on road trips, it’s how I think we can reconnect our souls with the nature around us. Then throw some architecture into the mix, along with that inimitable human interraction & you have the perfect scenario to make memories.
Me & My Camera
Every picture tells a story, and I'm honoured to be there to capture those memories and share them forever. Deciding on a hobby in photography recently was the easiest choice I have ever made, and I've never looked back.
I have no target subjects, i have no target audience. What i photograph is what i find pleasing to the eye, be it nature, people, architecture or just - a snapshot memory.
As a hobbyist & amateur photographer, I’m fascinated by those unique moments that can be seized on camera. Sometimes, I can be intending to get that 'classic' shot, others it could be a 'Oh Look! kind of moment - a snapshot.
A snapshot is a term used in various contexts to refer to a frozen or captured representation of something at a specific moment in time.
In photography, a snapshot usually refers to a quickly taken, informal, and candid photograph that captures a moment or scene without much staging or planning.
